What does it mean to be an ally? How can we practice social justice values in our everyday work lives in practical and effective ways? Join us for an interactive workshop to learn and share strategies for standing up against injustice. Led by poet, author, and teaching artist Renée Watson, we will discuss strategies for having difficult and courageous conversations, how to curate art spaces that are inclusive to all cultures, and examples of how even small feats of activism can have a big impact.
